Field Trip to Dustin Vanasse’s Solar Apiaries
Our next field trip will be on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 6:00 PM
It will be held at one of Dustin Vanasse’s Solar Apiaries. The site is about 35-40 minutes north of the U of M, near Stacy, Minnesota.
Dustin’s company, “Bare Honey” is a family-owned business. The web-site is https://barehoney.com.
Dustin will be in the process of setting up his migratory hives. He will be sharing the ins and outs of his solar beekeeping business, including the effects of heat and drought on honey flows and pricing in our current climate. The program will last about one hour.
Open to the first 25 fully vaccinated people who register by sending an email to me at [email protected]. I will follow up with details.
